About the performers:
DJ Un-G is master turntablist, world class martial artist and spiritual leader of hiphopunkfunkmamboska collective p.i.c (house band for Comedy Central's Premium Blend).

Snakes and Music (Universal Warning Records), featuring Andrew Low of Jazz June and indie journeyman Gregg Levy (Electrolux), makes pensive, supremely evocative indie rock.

Girl with Guitar, aka Alina Simone, combines folk and three-chord rock with punk know-how and sandblasted vocals reminiscent of Yanka (Russian punk/folk chanteuse) and Excuse 17. Alina has rocked Knitting Factory Main Stage, Living Room and the Old American Can Factory and has shared the stage with Barbez, Rebecca Moore (Knitting Factory Records), Pinataland and Dresden Dolls. The February 21 performance also features cellist Jenny Petrow of Disfarmer.

Convertible Jennifers (Riding Mower Records) is a charming indie rock trio gently escorting pop music into the new millennium with simple, catchy-as-hell songs about death, taxes and the representation of seahorses in indigenous Nordic fin de siècle adolescent literature. Convertible Jennifers has performed at Arlene Grocery, Old American Can Factory and Southpaw and has opened for Northern State, p.i.c and Puracane (Ubiquity Records). "Curiously clever" according to Toosquare.com, Convertible Jennifers are skillful and unpretentious song craftsmen, drawing frequent comparison to Joe Jackson, Sea and Cake and Squeeze.

So get your vinyl on with Convertible Jennifers. And enter the raffle to win your own record player!
